At Taco Casa, our team is our greatest asset. From our store managers who have been with us for over a decade, to our newest crew members learning the ropes, every single person plays a role in keeping the Taco Casa standard alive. That standard hasn’t changed since Roy Upshaw opened the first Taco Casa in Fort Worth, Texas in 1972 — and it won’t change as long as people like ours are running our restaurants.

Monica has been a cornerstone of the Wichita Falls Taco Casa family for over a decade. With more than 12 years of experience leading her team, Monica brings consistency, warmth, and high standards to every shift. She knows what it means to build a restaurant that a community can rely on — and she delivers that every single day at our Southwest Parkway location.
DAPHENE HERRERA
Store Manager — Wichita Falls, TX (Maplewood Ave) Serving you since 2023
Daphene hit the ground running when she joined the Taco Casa Maplewood team and hasn’t slowed down since. Her energy, attention to detail, and genuine care for both her staff and customers make the Maplewood location one of the most welcoming spots in Wichita Falls. Daphene is proof that great leadership shows up fast when the values are right.
NAZERHET ZAPATA
Store Manager — Ardmore, OK Serving you since 2022
Nazerhet leads the Ardmore location with dedication and a hands-on approach that the team and customers both appreciate. Since joining in 2022, she has built a loyal following in the Ardmore community by keeping the Taco Casa promise simple: fresh food, fair prices, and a friendly face every time. Nazerhet is a key part of why Taco Casa continues to grow in Oklahoma.

Store Manager — Duncan, OK Serving you since 2024
Ayden is one of the newest additions to the Taco Casa management family, but he’s already making a big impression in Duncan. With fresh energy and a strong commitment to quality service, Ayden is building the kind of trust with his community that Taco Casa is known for. Duncan is lucky to have him, and we’re proud to have him on our team.
RACQUEL HASTON
Store Manager — Vernon, TX Serving you since 2010
Racquel is a true Taco Casa veteran. With over 14 years at the Vernon location, she has seen it all — and handled it all — with grace, professionalism, and a genuine love for her community. Regulars in Vernon don’t just come for the tacos — they come because Racquel and her team make every visit feel like coming home. She is the living definition of what Taco Casa loyalty looks like.
